Passion, profession and vocation. Tim Mayer, the aeroalpin founder, spent most of his teenage years on airfields, in the cockpit and – absorbed in specialist books and taking part in numerous training courses – studying for the theoretical and practical qualifications of a pilot. Flying, initially intended as a leisure activity, has now taken the main role professionally. No sooner had he finished school than Tim Mayer made the decision to found a charter company. He acquired the basic entrepreneurial knowledge during his studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Aalen and the “Business Administration for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Start-up and Takeover)” course was chosen carefully. His greatest trump card is his experience in the cockpit: As a pilot, Tim Mayer is very familiar with the planning of flight routes and – in close cooperation with experienced crews and the expertise of the strategic partner flYellow GmbH – is the first point of contact for the professional implementation of private and business charter flights.
